Following the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration's implementation of its environmental policy under the "No Waste Separation" project, which saw success reflected in the continued decline in waste disposal budgets in 2024, a plan was developed to compile data on restaurant operators by recruiting 'restaurants that voluntarily separate their waste' to join the "This Restaurant Doesn't Separate Waste" campaign.

'This Shop Doesn't Dump' will not only open applications for restaurant operators, but will also be another channel for the public, as 'partners of the city', to support entrepreneurs who reduce their use of Single Used Plastics, as well as entrepreneurs who separate their food waste from the source. The BMA will display information and locations of participating restaurants on its website. https://greener.bangkok.go.th/
