How to separate waste according to No-Mix Waste at Home Campaign

Proper waste separation reduces the impact on the environment and increases the chances of recycling. The main types of waste are: Food waste (Put in a green bag/green bin or send for fertilizer and animal feed), Recyclable waste (such as plastic bottles, paper, separate them at collection points or drop them off at the Bangkok garbage trucks), Hazardous waste (such as batteries, light bulbs should be disposed of in the orange bin or at a hazardous waste collection activity in the community), and General waste (such as snack bags, plastic bags, throw them in the blue bin).
