The garden on the bridge is a place where you can sit and relax, enjoy the view, and watch the sunset in the evening. The best time to visit is from 3:30 PM onwards.

Beautifully made, well made, with a ramp for people to bring their bicycles up, and an elevator for the elderly and disabled. What is not so beautiful is the Phra Pok Klao Park below. There is no beautiful sign, only a handwritten sign in Thai. The entrance door is beautiful, but only the one where cars can park is open. The door under the bridge is not open, it is dark, there is no light, and it does not say which entrance to enter. You have to ask a cart vendor if you have to walk around a bit.

The day I went was December 31, 2024. I went to see the New Year's fireworks. There were a lot of people, but it was a park with a very beautiful view. I got to see the Chao Phraya River and the Phutthamonthon Bridge. It was also beautiful to go exercise in the morning.

Travel by MRT, get off at Sanam Chai Station, Exit 5, walk towards Rajini Pier, walk along the river for about 650 meters, pass Phuttha Bridge, Phuttha Bridge Pier, walk towards Somdech Phra Pok Klao Park, follow the signs to the Chao Phraya Skywalk. Go in the evening for a nice atmosphere. During the day, the sun is very hot. The view from above is very beautiful.

This was my first time going to Sanam Luang as a Thai because this Songkran I stopped by to visit a friend in Bangkok after not living in Bangkok for more than twenty years. We traveled by MRT to Sanam Chai station and walked along the way. I have to say that the view on both sides of the road was very beautiful. There was a view of Wat Pho, Wat Phra Kaew, the Ministry of Defense, and the City Pillar Shrine. The view was exquisite and beautiful.... Although there were a lot of tourists on the day we went, it was really beautiful. #Amazing Thailand Sanam Luang on Songkran Day is very well organized. Cool breeze and drone show interpreting letters. We were very impressed. We are not surprised that foreigners like this area so much.read more

Ramanee Nat Park was originally the site of the Bangkok Special Prison (former), built in the reign of King Rama V. Later in 1977, this prison was moved to another location. The original area was developed into a public park and was given the name "Ramanee Nat", which means "The Lady of Refuge" by His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun. Suan Ramanee Nat is a park. It used to be a prison built during the reign of King Rama V. It was the first prison built (Klong Prem Prison). But at present, it no longer holds prisoners and has been turned into a public park for the public to use. There is a basketball court combined with a soccer field, a weightlifting area, a running track, an area for practicing physical fitness, trees, trash cans, restrooms, a playground, and a skate park. There are squirrels and many crows in the park.

A lovely park that is quite central to some of the attractions. The park has staff at different entrances. It is generally clean and has some flowers.

What a beautiful little park! Lots of shade on a sunny day, plenty of seating. A very pleasant change of green as you take your time walking along the streets and tall buildings. Perfect for a short break after visiting the Reclining Buddha or the Grand Palace. There is also a public outdoor gym with some rusty equipment, but it was great fun to train with the locals. Overall very picturesque!

Saranrom Park is a small park with a long history. It used to be the royal park of Saranrom Palace. There are many interesting permanent structures to see such as the memorial to Queen Sunandha Kumariratana (the sunken ship queen), an ancient fountain, a pavilion with a horn, the shrine of Mae Takhian Thong, and two other ancient buildings and a beautiful wrought iron gate (worthy of being the gate of a royal park). There is also equipment for weight training.... (Free) and there is a legendary Saranrom Park runner team, although the park is small, but each park runner guarantees that it is hard to run after. There are only warriors who park their cars beside the park on the bank of the old moat canal, parking is free, but you have to take a chance. It is a small park worth seeing and very shady with mostly old trees that are over a hundred years old. I recommend it.read more

The first time I came here, my first feeling was that I was very impressed by the air because it was freezing cold, a calm and peaceful feeling that I can't describe. We came in the early evening, the lights were beautifully arranged, and each spot had a QR Code to scan according to the concept and we could hear music that was set up at each spot. To be honest, every spot was good because each booth had a different meaning, but they all showed the happiness of the people who came to this park.... And then share it with those who just came like us, it makes us feel warm, happy and impressed that students from Bangkok University, Department of Communication Arts, came to explain the exhibition that they jointly organized with Bangkok as the Awakening Light of Bangkok event. What I like the most is probably the booth of flowers that bloom like love that is filled and well-cared for. I really like the creativity of each one. My heart is full when walking through the flower tunnel and ending at the flower lantern garden, it looks so cute and lovely. And the hottest spot is probably the dome that projects a projector like entering another world. I think before the event ends on December 3rd, I will go again to fully enjoy the atmosphere because the first time we just stopped by to try the atmosphere. It will be a new place to run and exercise. But if anyone likes to run fast, there might still be a lot of people during the festival. We can only walk instead. But in any case, every booth has a cute gimmick, hidden with a good meaning of life. I think that if everyone goes, they will feel the intention to convey the meaning to make people smile and definitely receive happiness back. It can be said that this place is quite romantic for couples. Or you can come with your best friend, it's also suitable. With dim, cool light, warm like the cold weather during this time. Saranrom Park was built during the reign of King Rama V. It was built as a place for relaxation, indoor sports and drama for royalty, government officials and people who were permitted to use the park, and as a place to mourn Queen Ruam Lom and King Rama V. There is a sports field, ping pong tables, a takraw court, a badminton court, a walkway around the park and a pond. There are shady trees and places to sit and rest at intervals....
