Now Sanam Luang has a basement room between the front of Phra Kaew and Tha Chang Pier with air conditioning and cool breezes. There are also staff to provide advice.

This place is called "Sanam Luang" "It is very important to the country, the nation and the world". It is a place where important royal ceremonies of the Chakri Dynasty have been held since ancient times and where important Buddhist ceremonies and celebrations, exhibitions and performances are held on important occasions etc. etc. ... We humbly remember His Majesty's grace and find a place... It is not possible...when the last time, the event was held "Inviting the relics of the Lord Buddha from India to be enshrined on 28 March 2024 - 3 March 2024" for us Thai people to pay homage "Creating great joy"read more

This was my first time going to Sanam Luang as a Thai because this Songkran I stopped by to visit a friend in Bangkok after not living in Bangkok for more than twenty years. We traveled by MRT to Sanam Chai station and walked along the way. I have to say that the view on both sides of the road was very beautiful. There was a view of Wat Pho, Wat Phra Kaew, the Ministry of Defense, and the City Pillar Shrine. The view was exquisite and beautiful.... Although there were a lot of tourists on the day we went, it was really beautiful. #Amazing Thailand Sanam Luang on Songkran Day is very well organized. Cool breeze and drone show interpreting letters. We were very impressed. We are not surprised that foreigners like this area so much.read more
