Ramanee Nat Park was originally the site of the Bangkok Special Prison (former), built in the reign of King Rama V. Later in 1977, this prison was moved to another location. Suan Ramanee Nat is a park. It used to be a prison built during the reign of King Rama V. It was the first prison built (Klong Prem Prison). But at present, it no longer holds prisoners and has been turned into a public park for the public to use. What a beautiful little park! Lots of shade on a sunny day, plenty of seating. A very pleasant change of green as you take your time walking along the streets and tall buildings. Perfect for a short break after visiting the Reclining Buddha or the Grand Palace. There is also a public outdoor gym with some rusty equipment, but it was great fun to train with the locals. Overall very picturesque!

Saranrom Park is a small park with a long history. It used to be the royal park of Saranrom Palace. There are many interesting permanent structures to see such as the memorial to Queen Sunandha Kumariratana (the sunken ship queen), an ancient fountain, a pavilion with a horn, the shrine of Mae Takhian Thong, and two other ancient buildings and a beautiful wrought iron gate (worthy of being the gate of a royal park). The first time I came here, my first feeling was that I was very impressed by the air because it was freezing cold, a calm and peaceful feeling that I can't describe. My heart is full when walking through the flower tunnel and ending at the flower lantern garden, it looks so cute and lovely. And the hottest spot is probably the dome that projects a projector like entering another world. It will be a new place to run and exercise. But if anyone likes to run fast, there might still be a lot of people during the festival. We can only walk instead. Queen Sirikit Park is not far from Chatuchak Park and Mochit Bus Terminal. It is a large public park with many beautiful flower gardens. It is a good place to walk and exercise. There is no charge, but there is a parking charge. The first 15 minutes are free and the first hour is 20 baht. Fractions of an hour are counted as 1 hour. The park in Bangkok is open from 4:30 am to 9:00 pm. I like to walk on the elevated walkway to see the view of Bangkok. There are bike lanes and paths for walkers and joggers. The bathroom is clean. The lights are not working in some places. It is quiet. After 6 pm, there are not many people, but I still feel safe because there are many security guards.
