A lovely park that is quite central to some of the attractions. The park has staff at different entrances. It is generally clean and has some flowers.

What a beautiful little park! Lots of shade on a sunny day, plenty of seating. A very pleasant change of green as you take your time walking along the streets and tall buildings. Perfect for a short break after visiting the Reclining Buddha or the Grand Palace. There is also a public outdoor gym with some rusty equipment, but it was great fun to train with the locals. Overall very picturesque!

Saranrom Park is a small park with a long history. It used to be the royal park of Saranrom Palace. There are many interesting permanent structures to see such as the memorial to Queen Sunandha Kumariratana (the sunken ship queen), an ancient fountain, a pavilion with a horn, the shrine of Mae Takhian Thong, and two other ancient buildings and a beautiful wrought iron gate (worthy of being the gate of a royal park). There is also equipment for weight training.... (Free) and there is a legendary Saranrom Park runner team, although the park is small, but each park runner guarantees that it is hard to run after. There are only warriors who park their cars beside the park on the bank of the old moat canal, parking is free, but you have to take a chance. It is a small park worth seeing and very shady with mostly old trees that are over a hundred years old. I recommend it.read more

The first time I came here, my first feeling was that I was very impressed by the air because it was freezing cold, a calm and peaceful feeling that I can't describe. We came in the early evening, the lights were beautifully arranged, and each spot had a QR Code to scan according to the concept and we could hear music that was set up at each spot. To be honest, every spot was good because each booth had a different meaning, but they all showed the happiness of the people who came to this park.... And then share it with those who just came like us, it makes us feel warm, happy and impressed that students from Bangkok University, Department of Communication Arts, came to explain the exhibition that they jointly organized with Bangkok as the Awakening Light of Bangkok event. What I like the most is probably the booth of flowers that bloom like love that is filled and well-cared for. I really like the creativity of each one. My heart is full when walking through the flower tunnel and ending at the flower lantern garden, it looks so cute and lovely. And the hottest spot is probably the dome that projects a projector like entering another world. I think before the event ends on December 3rd, I will go again to fully enjoy the atmosphere because the first time we just stopped by to try the atmosphere. It will be a new place to run and exercise. But if anyone likes to run fast, there might still be a lot of people during the festival. We can only walk instead. But in any case, every booth has a cute gimmick, hidden with a good meaning of life. I think that if everyone goes, they will feel the intention to convey the meaning to make people smile and definitely receive happiness back. It can be said that this place is quite romantic for couples. Or you can come with your best friend, it's also suitable. With dim, cool light, warm like the cold weather during this time. Saranrom Park was built during the reign of King Rama V. It was built as a place for relaxation, indoor sports and drama for royalty, government officials and people who were permitted to use the park, and as a place to mourn Queen Ruam Lom and King Rama V. There is a sports field, ping pong tables, a takraw court, a badminton court, a walkway around the park and a pond. There are shady trees and places to sit and rest at intervals.... There is a fitness area and exercise equipment. There is an old building that is waiting to be renovated. It is an area under the care of the Environmental Office. It is open from 5:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Open 5.00-21.00 hrs. Wachiraphirom Park is located under the Ram Intra-Achanong Expressway. On Ram Intra Road, turn into Wacharapol. There are 3 entrances, but cars can enter 2 ways: in front of Ram Intra Road, the entrance is right under the expressway. Do not drive fast or you will pass. If you pass, turn left a little bit. There will be another entrance. Here, there is a walking-running lane, clearly separated from the bicycle lane. The running lane is about 550 meters per round. The walking and running lanes are not very wide. Even if 4 people walk closely together, if 2 people walk and talk, there will be only a little space for runners. It is not suitable for walking and talking. In the evening, there are many people practicing running fast. You may be hit slowly. Please stay on the left. There is a football field, basketball court, takraw court, and climbing equipment for children. There are good bathrooms. There is a ramp for wheelchairs on the side door. There are temporary toilets. It may not be very convenient in the morning. People come to use the service since 4.45 am. If the security guard opens it, you can enter. There is a 24-hour security guard. The park has a tightly closed door. It is safe. There are chairs to sit and relax. Or you can lay a mat on the grass. There are no drinks for sale. You have to bring your own. Except in the evening around 4:30 p.m., there will be cold drinks set up on tables for sale. Clean and safe. This park does not allow pets to walk around. But there is a garden next door for pets. It is fenced in.
